A short walk from our Essaouira hotel (Riad) will be the The 8th Festival of the Atlantic Andalusias starting on October 27th Celebrating the Andalusian contribution to the cultures of Spain, North Africa and Latin America,  love songs, Arabic violin suites, Gypsy dances, flamenco rock and even Mexican folk tunes are all part of the spectacle. Diva among divas, Naima Dziria Algiers will be accompanied by the orchestra of Fouad Didi (Tlemcen) to give us a program specially created to Essaouira.  2011 also gives a prominent place to women and Singers and artists including the honor of hosting for the first time in Morocco several dancers from the Royal Ballet of London, with their students, in a show titled “Breezes Ballet.” A show created specifically for  Essaouira.
